Two surprises in the sunshine at Llandow today.
Dropped in at an Oxfam campaign on the arms trade. Jill Evans MEP was there. How does she manage to look exactly the same as when we both worked for peace sense in 1980s. She has stayed faithful to her early inspiration and she is a fine representative of Wales in Europe. Oxfam have some powerful messages. There are stronger laws controlling the sale of of bananas and iPads than those controlling lethal weapons.
There is proof that I do not look the same. These two pictures were spotted at the CND exhibit. They were taken in January 1981 at the nuclear bunker protests at Bridgend. One was taken in front of the proposed bunker. I believe Joan Ruddock was there.
