Would you care to comment on how this 1Q 2010 status, based on Broadcasters’ Audience Research Board statistics, has developed since then ?

- fewer than one-in-five S4C programmes within a three-week period attracted more than 10,000 viewers
- as many as 196 of the 890 programmes put out by S4C were rated as having zero viewers.

- S4C is funded by an index-linked grant of more than £100m a year from the UK Government’s Department for Culture, Media and Sport.

Would Gordon Brown's Cat care to comment on the concerns raised about the validity of the BARB figures he quotes?

My personal favourite: Many of the programs rated by BARB as having zero viewers are award-winning children's tv shows aimed at under 4s. Under 4s aren't counted as viewers.

Personally, I couldn't give a fig for S4C, but stats abuse is worth getting 2am tetchy about.
