We went in in 2001 aqnd it took 8 years to suffer 200 deaths (not counting the euphamistic 'life changing injuries') - now the next 100 comes in a matter of months AND some numpty on the radio says that we're winning and the casulaties are because we're engaging the enemy more.
That feels a lot like the logic from the Somme - we engaged the enemy there as well ..
But this is what I mean about politicians - nothing changes , not really .. Cameron and Clegg are trumpeting the same slogans..
