This year's Caerleon Newport Arts festival had a sheep theme.
Wooden sheep, living sheep, papier mache sheep and even a sheep made out of carpet on a distant hill. In spite of threatening cloud, no rain fell. Tonight the Merchant of Venice will performed outside in the Amphitheatre. I do not think anyone will notice if it rains.
Tomorrow afternoon there will an auction of the carved sheep. This is an innovation. It should be interesting. I believe reserved prices will be set at about £600.
27 years old airframe for a helicopter in Afgnaistan - surely shome mishtake ?
And it can't be true can it that if you have a speeding ticket and get raped any compensation will be reduced ? - that would be to link too very different events
..
and the discussion on bank charges rumbles on
I was told they would not be reduced because ' we (the Halifax) have not made a mistake'
I have now pointed out to them that their charges amount to
£18:20 a day
75p an HOUR ..
The Halifax has changed since they sacked Howard ...
..and while they screw up and get bailed out I get heavily penalised .. Bankers eh? you'll got to hate them ..
